Driven by its goal to give innovative, high-potential Québec-based startups better access to investment capital, Espace CDPQ is renewing its strategic partnership with ACET and LE CAMP—two of the largest technology accelerators in Québec. With the creation of the Espace CDPQ’s poles (previously hubs) in Sherbrooke and Quebec City, the largest venture capital community in Canada aims to continue to support the growth of regional startup businesses by building the presence of venture capital funds in the Eastern Townships and Quebec City.

Leveraging the expertise of its 25 partner funds, among other things, Espace CDPQ plans to collaborate with ACET and LE CAMP in order to explain the concept of venture capital to their startups in residence, thereby helping to drive growth. 

Long-standing support for regional businesses

ACET and LE CAMP have built enviable reputations, among other things due to the quality of support that they provide, their performance and the economic vitality of the regions in which they operate. 

The Eastern Townships region is a key innovation hub in Québec due to the presence of Université de Sherbrooke. Quebec City, for its part, is becoming increasingly attractive due to the high concentration of research and technology transfer centers that are beneficial for the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
